Toronto inhabitants enjoy a humid continental climate with cold to very cold winters and warm humid summers. At times, Toronto experiences extremely cold winters, with temperatures dropping way below -10 degree centigrade. Rainfall is usually distributed throughout the year, with summer bringing in the maximum rainfall in the region.
